Supportive Counsellor
I don't rush to fix, and I don't shy away from the uneasy emotional spaces. I sit with what you're carrying and explore what it actually feels like for you. I see you as a person first, not a diagnosis or a role.

https://headroom.co.za/user/kundai-muringi/ My work is rooted in the person-centred approach. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to offer a steady, non-judgmental space where you can explore it honestly. Where it helps, I draw on CBT to work with the thoughts and patterns keeping you stuck, and on psychodynamic ideas when the work calls for sitting with childhood experiences and how they shape the way you relate to yourself and others today. I choose the approach based on what you need, not the other way round.
“ Emotions rarely release until they have been heard. Unheard, they don't disappear; they resurface as attitudes, behaviours and loops. Even the darkest woods have roots.

I’m an ASCHP-listed counsellor working online with women and families wherever they are in the world. I hold IBCLC certification and have completed specialised training in perinatal mental health and counselling, alongside current MSc Psychology studies at the University of Essex. My practice centres on supporting women and families through the emotional, identity, and relational shifts that come with family life — the transitions between who you were, who you are, and who you are becoming. I bring a culturally grounded lens to this work, understanding that wellbeing is rarely just an individual matter. We are each shaped by our relationships, our histories, and the many roles we carry — and healing happens in that fuller context. Sessions are collaborative and non-judgmental. I meet you where you are, and we work together at your pace toward clarity, connection, and a sense of wholeness. Every person needs a heart that can hear their heart. ‹‹‹
