My name is Linda Scott, and I am a registered wellness counsellor offering a compassionate, person-centred, and holistic approach to emotional healing.
With over 17 years of experience, I support individuals, couples, and families through trauma, grief, loss, life transitions, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm. I believe that even in seasons of deep pain, healing is possible, and that each person carries an inner capacity for growth, restoration, and meaningful change.
My work is grounded in Person-Centred Therapy, guided by empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I integrate trauma-informed practices, narrative and solution-focused approaches where helpful, always adapting to your unique needs and pace. I honour the connection between emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing, and work in a way that respects the whole person.
I have particular experience in trauma counselling, PTSD, grief and loss, divorce recovery, stress, and major life changes. My background also includes palliative counselling, pastoral care in hospital settings, and emergency services and crisis intervention (chaplaincy), supporting individuals and families during moments of crisis, medical trauma, and end-of-life care.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can be your authentic self. My practice is compassionate, grounded, and accepting, with a strong focus on your journey and your healing.
If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or weary, you do not have to walk alone. I would be honoured to support you as you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
