What difference is the support you are receiving making for you, and what would you want someone else to know about getting support?

I help you make sense of what lies beneath your patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and move towards meaningful change. I offer a space where you can be understood without judgement and challenged with compassion.

https://headroom.co.za/user/tracy-sibiya/ When you sit down with me, we begin with what is happening in your life right now. I listen carefully to understand not only what you are experiencing, but also the patterns, relationships and circumstances shaping your experience. Together, we make sense of what you are going through and identify what would be most helpful to focus on. This may involve recognising unhelpful thoughts and exploring more balanced responses. We might practise skills to manage difficult emotions, navigate relationships or respond differently in challenging situations. At times, I may ask questions to help you explore your own motivations for change, rather than telling you what to do. Your experiences, goals and feedback guide our work, and we adapt our approach as your needs become clearer. My aim is to help you develop practical insights and skills that extend beyond our sessions and support you in everyday life.
“ People are often doing the best they can with the resources, coping mechanisms and understanding they have at that point in their lives. My experience has taught me to look beyond the behaviour and become curious about what lies beneath it. When people feel heard, understood and treated with dignity, they are often more able to reflect, find clarity, and begin to make meaningful changes.
“ “Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.” — bell hooks
“ You don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out for support. Sometimes, taking the first step simply means acknowledging that things feel difficult and allowing yourself the space to work through them. You deserve to be heard, understood and supported without judgement.
“ I believe people often have more strength and wisdom within them than they realise; sometimes, they simply need a safe space to discover it.
“ What is happening in your life that has led you to cope in the ways you do?

I support people through periods of change, difficulty and uncertainty. My work has focused particularly on addiction and trauma, alongside supporting individuals navigating suicide prevention, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges and life transitions. I currently work with individuals navigating substance-use challenges in an outpatient setting and am also part of Headroom’s Responsible Betting Programme (RBP), supporting people to better understand their relationship with betting and the role it plays in their lives. In partnership with a non-profit organisation, I also support individuals who have experienced recent traumatic events, helping them navigate the impact of these experiences and access support during a difficult time. I believe that seeking support does not require you to have everything figured out. Sometimes, the first step is simply having a space where you can pause, talk honestly about what you are carrying, and begin to make sense of it. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore where you are, what matters to you, and what you may need moving forward. Whether you are taking your first step towards support or trying to understand what comes next, I’m here to help you navigate that process with care, clarity and understanding. ‹‹‹
