After high school, psychology wasn’t the field I thought I’d end up in. My original dream was to become a veterinarian. But when I matriculated and didn’t get into veterinary medicine, I had to pause and recalibrate.
I then decided to pursue the medical field instead. I began in nursing—hoping it would later lead me into medicine. However, I soon realized the medical field wasn’t for me. I struggled with uncertainty and questioned what my purpose and role in the world truly were.
I prayed for clarity, and the answer came in an unexpected way—through a YouTube video on the YETI channel titled “One Eighty Out.” The video tells the story of veterans who, through therapeutic horse-assisted trail riding, are reintegrated into society after deployment. Watching it helped me understand something important: psychology was the field I was called to; my purpose is in serving others.
My purpose and role are to create a safe space where you can be vulnerable, be heard, and feel accepted—without judgment. I want to serve and walk with you as you process your experiences and move toward your goals.
Sharing my story is my way of reminding you that life can change for anyone. Sometimes dreams don’t unfold the way we plan. Sometimes we must adjust—not because we’ve failed, but because we’re being challenged to think differently about what truly matters.
Recalibration isn’t giving up. It’s growth.
In the space I provide you I hope you’ll feel free to express yourself—honestly, openly, and as you are—while you move in and toward your purpose.
